"Shout" by the British band Tears for Fears reached 6th in the UK Top 40 hit, topping at #4 in January 1985. In the U.S., Shout reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 3, 1985 and held the spot for three weeks. "Shout" eventually became one of the most successful pop songs of 1985. This song also reached the Top 10 in 25 different nations worldwide, making Tears for Fears one of the top bands of the 80's era.
