Take on Me - ah-a

"Take on Me" was recorded back in 1984 but was remixed for the release of the Hunting High and Low album. It is one of the most successful 80's New Wave single which brought the Norwegian New Wave band a-ha on the peak of almost all music charts in 1985. You can get a-ha's Hunting High and Low album here. Take on Me was also voted the best music video of all time by Music Television (MTV) in 2000 out of 100 videos.

Take On Me Lyrics

A-Ha's
TAKE ON ME

We're talking away
I don't know what
I'm to say I'll say it anyway
Today's another day to find you
Shying away
I'll be coming for your love, OK?

Take on me, take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two

So needless to say
I'm odds and ends
But that's me stumbling away
Slowly learning that life is OK.
Say after me
It's no better to be safe than sorry

Take on me, take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two

Oh the things that you say
Is it life or
Just a play my worries away
You're all the things I've got to
remember
You're shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway

Take on me, take me on
I'll be gone
In a day or two
